In the Kashmir valley, curfew continues for the second consecutive day in entire Srinagar city and towns of Anantnag and Bijbehara. Prohibitory orders under section 144 are being enforced in Baramula, Pattan and some other towns with deployment of security forces in strength. Curfew was reimposed in Srinagar on Tuesday following fresh wave of protests and clashes against killing of four civilians at Palahallan on Monday in police action.
