In Andhra Pradesh, the indefinite curfew clamped in the Old city of Hyderabad was lifted for 12 hours from six in the Friday morning. <br/><br/>With normalcy returning to the city after posting of nearly 30 companies of paramilitary forces, besides state policemen, including the elite OCTOPUS personnel, the authorities decided to lift the curfew during day time. <br/><br/>Police sources said, if the present situation continued, curfew could be totally lifted in a couple of days. <br/><br/>Police had arrested 250 people in connection with the incidents while another 300 people were let off after being taken them into preventive custody and questioning them. <br/><br/>However, as a precautionary measure, prohibitory orders were promulgated in the entire city.<br/>
