In Assam, culling of birds in avian flu affected Dhubri district has been intensified. 18 Rapid Action teams have been engaged in the culling operation in 14 villages of Agamani area bordering Bangladesh.The administration has banned the sale of poultry and its products in the area by imposing section 144 of CrPC. AIR correspondent reports, that no reports of bird flu infection in humans have been received so far.
