Cuba is celebrating the 85th birthday today of its revolutionary leader Fidel Castro who ruled the country for nearly 50 years. Yesterday singers and musicians from nine Latin American countries staged a concert attended by many of Cuba's leaders but Fidel Castro was not among them due to his ill health.
