The Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) is organising a 14-day mega exhibition CSIR Techno Fest 2010 from 14th to 27th of this month. Briefing media persons, the Director General of the the Council, Mr. S.K. Brahamachari said that the major thrust of the exhibition will be on CSIR's role in Science and Innovation for transforming India. He said that this mega event will envisage to strengthen CSIR linkage with existing and potential industry partners and to effectively disseminate the benefits of CSIR technologies to the masses. He said that the Council showcasing its valuable inputs that have helped in providing competitive industrial growth. Mr. Brahamachari said that the event will also showcase CSIR's expertise in the field of Science and Technology through 15 theme pavilions. He said that over 100 industries presenting their partnership with CSIR will be participating in this event by showcasing technologies and products successfully commercialized in practice.
