Hurricane fears steered crude prices towards 90 dollar in Asian trade today as stockpiles were forecast to fall due to a shutdown of oil production facilities in the Gulf of Mexico. New York's main contract, light sweet crude added 41 cents to 89.75 dollar per barrel. Brent North Sea crude gained 18 cents to 115.98 dollar.
