Crude oil traded near a four-month high today, ahead of reports that may show economic growth in the U.S., is gaining strength. Oil for October delivery shed 20 cents to 98.80 dollars a barrel, on the NYMEX. Brent for November settlement fell 26 cents to 116.40 dollars a barrel on the London-based ICE Futures Europe exchange.
