Crude prices were lower in Asian trade today with weak US growth data and debt worries in Europe weighing on the market. New York's main contract, light sweet crude for delivery in January, fell 53 cents to 97.48 US dollar a barrel.The analysts said crude markets were depressed by worries over the economic situation in the United States and Europe.
