Crucial lead for India as Sehwag, Tendulkar strike ton

Fine centuries by Virender Sehwag and Sachin Tendulkar helps India to take crucial 46 runs lead in the first innings against South Africa. They scored 342 for 5 at stumps on the second day of the second cricket test at Kolkata today. Sehwag scored 165 while Tendulkar made 106. Gambhir contributed 25. V.V.S. Laxman and Amit Mishra remained not out with 9 and one respectively. For South Africa Dale Steyn, Morkel, Harris and Duminy claimed one wicket each.Earlier South Africa were all out for 296 in their first innings. For India Zaheer Khan claimed four wickets while Harbhajan three. The scores so far: South Africa – 296; India – 342 for 5.
