Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh today said that Central Reserve Police Force-CRPF has played an important role in internal security of the country. Addressing the 76th raising day function of CRPF in Neemuch, Madhya Pradesh, he said that CRFP jawans are fighting Maoist valiantly. <br/><br/>As a result of this, there is 30 per cent decrease in the incidents of Maoist violence this year. Home Minister said that the centre is taking steps for modernisation of CRPF. Mr. Singh said along with cadre review, the government is considering increasing residential and other facilities for the CRPF personnel.
