Government says it has an operation plan against the Naxals. After taking charge today in New Delhi as director general of the CRPF, Mr. Vikram Srivastava said the force is rising to meet the challenges. AIR correspondent reports that a 1973-batch IPS officer of the Uttar Pradesh cadre, Mr. Srivastava is likely to visit Naxal affected areas soon to get a first hand experience . CRPF is the main force mandated to counter Naxals and it is the largest paramilitary force in the world.<br/>
