With the killing of a nine year old boy amid protest at Baramullah the death toll in the valley from last evening in such incident has risen to three and more than a dozen people are injured. <br/><br/>CRPF has refuted allegations of high-handedness in tackling protestors in Jammu and Kashmir and said it is working along with the state police. CRPF Director General Vikram Srivastava said, the paramilitary force is working along with the Magistrate and the Jammu and Kashmir Police. A statement issued by the CRPF said, it was forced to open fire when its post outside Sopore was attacked by a mob of 700 people. Mr. Srivastava said that an inquiry has been ordered and action will be taken according to the assessment of the magistrate with regard to the incident.
