<br/>The Central Resserve Police personnel have averted a major explosion in Orissa's Sundargarh district with seizure of 15 kilogrammes of Improvised Explosive Device (IED) last night. The CRPF spokesman, Mr. Ajay Chaturvedi told AIR in New Delhi today that the a team of CRPF personnel on patrolling duty have found the device kept in a Can under a railway bridge near Pamposh village. He said the IED was handed over to the local police authorities.<br/>
