In Andhra Pradesh, the bandh in Rayalaseema and Coastal Andhra Pradesh in support of a Unified state is underway for the second day today, even as the political crisis over Separate Telangana state issue is continuing. Public life has been paralysed in these regions due to bandh called by all parties. <br/><br/>Meanwhile, the Chief Minister is holding consultations with legal experts over the deepened political crisis in the state after 136 MLAs cutting across party lines tendered resignations protesting against the Centre’s decision to initiate the process for carving out a separate Telangana state. Chief Minister K Rosaiah assured that the views of all stakeholders would be considered before introducing the resolution on Telangana in the State Assembly. Our correspondent reports, the congress MLAs are waiting for a clear signal from their high command on the issue. <br/><br/>Earlier, 136 MLAs resigned in the 294 member Assembly against the decision of a separate Telangana state. Out of 136 legislators that resigned, 79 belong to the Congress, 43 from TDP and 14 from Praja Rajyam Party. Speaker Kiran Kumar Reddy has adjourned the Assembly till Monday in the wake of the resignations.
