In Assam, crime and criminal tracking network system is to be introduced by connecting all the police stations of the state by September this year. Assam police already launched the system at Chandmari, Kamalpur and Gauripur police stations as Pilot Project. Police official in Guwahati said that District Training Laboratories have already been set up at all the district headquarters to train the police personnel on basic issues of the system.
