The official ticketing website of the ICC Cricket World Cup, www.kyazoonga.com, crashed yesterday amid a mad scramble for tickets for the tournament's summit clash in Mumbai on 2nd April. The website showed an error message soon after the business began, leading to fans venting their frustration by lashing out at the organisers at the website's Facebook page. The statement posted by the website on its Facebook page said that the site is facing unprecedented amount of traffic from all over the world, with hundreds of millions of people hitting at once. The fans however expressed their anger through the feedbacks saying that it was a disgrace that the tickets for the final were not available. Others speculated that tickets had already been handed out to the officials at low prices or free of charge and they will not be sold at counters in a repeat of the 2010 Commonwealth Games, where many tickets were distributed to bureaucrats and politicians. Only 4,500 tickets of the historic Wankhede Stadium final are on sale for public, with the rest being distributed through clubs and other cricket authorities.
