Cricket WC: NZ defeat Zimbabwe by 10 wickets

New Zealand defeated Zimbabwe by 10 wickets in a Group A World Cup Cricket match at the Sardar Patel Stadium in Motera, today. Chasing a modest target of 162, New Zealand openers Martin Guptill who made 86 not out and Brendon McCullum who made 76 not out, wrapped up the proceedings in 33.3 overs. Earlier, batting first after winning the toss, Zimbabwe were all out 161 in 46.2 overs. The Kiwis had defeated Kenya in their first match at Chennai. In the other World Cup match, now under way in Mirpur, Bangladesh have set a paltry target of 59 runs for the West Indies. Electing to bat, they collapsed for just 58 in 18.5 overs.
