In the ICC Cricket World Cup, Sri Lanka thrashed Kenya by nine wickets in a group A league match at R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo today.After dismissing Kenya for 142 in 43.4 overs, the co-hosts surpassed the victory target of 143 by making 146 for One in 18.4 overs. For Sri Lanka, Upul Tharanga top-scored with an unbeaten 67. With two wins in three matches, Sri Lanka now have four points. Kenya have lost all their three matches so far.Tomorrow, England will meet Ireland in a Group 'B' Day-Night encounter, at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore. All India Radio will broadcast live commentary on the match. The commentary can be heard on Rajdhani Channel and FM Gold from 2 P.M. onwards. Meanwhile, the West Indies cricket team arrived in Dhaka today ahead of their group B match against Bangladesh in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2011. The Carribeans will play against Bangladesh on Friday at the Sher -E Bangla stadium at Mirpur in Dhaka. Both the teams will be desperately looking to win the match which is crucial to move to the quarterfinals along with other likely qualifiers India, England and South Africa from Group B.
