Cricket: Rain-marred India vs Australia third test to begin today

The rain-marred third cricket test between India and Australia will begin on the second day today.Persistent rain at Mohali played spoilsport on the opening day yesterday, as umpires decided to call the day off, after inspecting the situation in the post-lunch session. The toss could also not take place.The Punjab Cricket Association Joint Secretary, GS Walia said that the match would start half an hour early from today, to make up for the loss of play.India is currently leading the 4-match series, 2-0. They had defeated the Aussies by 8 wickets in the first test at Chennai, before registering a superb, an innings and 135 runs victory in the second test at Hyderabad.
