Cricket: India to resume first innings against England in Hyderabad

In Cricket, India will resume their first innings play at the overnight score of 421 for 7 against England on the third day of the first Test of five-match series at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad this morning. The Men in Blue is well placed with a lead of 175 runs on day two. Ravindra Jadeja and Axar Patel were batting on 81 and 35 respectively at the close of play. Besides, KL Rahul scored 86 while Yashasvi Jaiswal made 80 runs. For England, Tom Hartley and Joe Root scalped two wickets apiece.

Earlier, England were all out for 246 in their first innings after English captain Ben Stocks won the toss and decided to bat first.
