Cremation of former union Minister and Rajya Sabha Member Janeshwar Misra will take place this afternoon with full state honours on the banks of Sangam, the confluence of river Ganga, Yamuna and mythical Saraswati at Allahabad in Uttar Pradesh. Funeral procession is passing through different parts of the Allahabad town in which large number of people, political leaders cutting across party lines including Samajwadi Party President Mulayam Singh Yadav are participating. Several political leaders, ministers of state government, MPs and MLAs and people from different walks of life have visited his house to pay their homage to the departed leader.<br/>The Samajwadi Party has expressed its deep sorrow over death of its national vice President Mr. Misra. Party Flag has been kept at half mast in respect of departed leader. Saifae Mahotsave organized by Mulayam Family on a large scale at Etawah has been declared closed in the mid way. Mr. Mulayam Singh Yadav has said that he and his Party have lost a philosopher and guide. <br/>Former Union Minister and senior Samajwadi Party leader a 4 time Lok Sabha member Mr. Janeshwar Misra died yesterday at Allahabad. He was 77. He was ill for a long time suffering from diabetics’ and hyper tension for some years.
