G. Mohanty, Director General, News, All India Radio said that credibility is the hall mark of radio news. Opening the inaugural session of the two-day orientation workshop for Prasar Bharati Part Time Correspondents (PTC) of Bihar in Patna today, he said, AIR News has always been known for accuracy, balance and clarity which should be maintained at all cost. Emphasizing the qualitative and quantitative up gradation, he asserted PTCs to maintain high standard of All India Radio. He expressed hope that this workshop will be of immense help in view of forthcoming Assembly elections in the state. Speaking on the occasion, Additional Director General Veena Jain highlighted the crucial role of the PTCs in Radio Communication. Mrs.Jain expressed hope that orientation workshop will play a vital role enhancing the standard of PTCs.
