After the initiative taken by the President Mrs. Pratibha Devisingh Patil a creche for the children of Labourers opened at President's Estate today. <br/><br/>This was inaugurated by Smt. Chachimma Christy, the spouse of the Secretary to the President Dr. Christy Fernandez at Rashtrapati Bhavan this morning. <br/><br/>The creche, called Sopan which is located in the President's Estate will cater 20 to 25 children in the age group of 3 to 6 years. <br/><br/>The President felt the need to start this facility as there are a number of labourers working in Rashtrapati Bhavan. <br/>
