Craig Ervine's maiden century helped Zimbabwe stun World Cup runners-up New Zealand by seven wickets in the first ODI at Harare Sunday. Sent in to bat, New Zealand posted 303 for 4 courtesy Ross Taylor's unbeaten 112. In reply, the hosts overhauled the target in the 49th over riding on Ervine's 130 not out which came of just 108 balls. Opener Hamilton Masakadza also chipped in with a valuable 84. Ervine was adjudged man of the match.The second ODI of the 3-match series will be played tomorrow at the same venue.
