In Nepal , the ruling CPN-UML on Tuesday refused to agreed to the proposal of it main ally Unified Communist party of Nepal (Maoist) to reshuffle the cabinet .The party’s Standing Committee in a meeting held in Kathmandu said that the reconstitution of the Cabinet will not be right at this point of time. General Secretary of the CPN-UML, Ishhwor Pokhrel said the party decided to move ahead through consensus based on the five point deal that paved the way for extending the Constituent Assembly by three months.Senior party leader Madhav Kumar Nepal has been given the responsibility to hold consultations with other political parties to reach consensus on peace, constitution and power sharing. He said that a Cabinet reshuffle at this point would violate the five point deal. The UCPN (Maoist) has submitted its nomination-list to the prime minister proposing to reshuffle its cabinet team under the leadership of party Vice Chairman Narayan Kaji Shrestha on Monday. Prime Minister Jhala Nath Khanal has objected to the Maoist proposal. The main opposition Nepali Congress has also protested the Cabinet reshuffle attempt saying that it comes at a time when the prime minister should be resigning.
