In Nepal, the opposition CPN(Maoist) on Tuesday urged the Nepali Congress candidate Ram Chandra Poudel to withdraw from the electoral race to begin afresh the electoral process to form a consensus government.Talking to newsmen after a meeting of his party held today, Maoist Vice- Chairman Narayan Kaji Shreshta said his party will vote against Poudel if he refuses to pull out of electoral race. Shreshta said his party will seek support from other parties including the CPN (MUL) to form a consensus government under the Maoist leadership as the largest party in the parliament. Nepali Congress has theatened to call back its ministers from UML-led caretaker government if CPN(UML) lawmakers votes against Poudel in the Prime Ministerial election.
