The CPM Polit Bureau met in Hyderabad today. Party National Secretary Prakash Karat and other leaders including Sitaram Echuri, Brinda Karat, Tripura state Chief Minister Manik Sarkar attended the meeting. According to party State Secretary B V Raghavulu, the polit Bureau would set the agenda for the Central Committee meetings to be held tomorrow and the day after in Hyderabad. He said the party’s poor performance in the recently held assembly elections especially in West Bengal and Kerala would be discussed during the meetings.
