CPI(M) Polit Bureau meeting began in New Delhi today as the West Begal unit of the party presented a preliminary report on the civic body poll debacle during the discussions. Party sources said that the Polit Bureau decided to go into the issue after the state committee Submits its report by June-end following assessments made by local units on what went wrong in the polls.Top West Bengal leaders Buddhadeb Bhattacharya and Nirupam Sen are not attending the meeting.This is the second time Bhattacharya is skipping a politburo meeting. Earlier, he had skipped a politburo meeting<br/>after the 2009 Lok Sabha polls where the Left suffered a huge blow in the state.CPI(M) Polit Bureau member Sitaram Yechury evaded a direct reply, when asked whether there will be any change in leadership in the state. He added that after the state committee reviews the election debacle, the matter will come to the Central Committee and Polit Bureau. The discussions on the draft political resolution to be placed before meeting of the extended Central Committee to be held in Vijayawada in August has also begun. <br/>
