In West Bengal, the opposition CPI(M) has suspended the former party MP of Arambag, Mr. Anil Basu for financial corruption and anti-party activities for three months. The party also suspended former MLA Mr. Binoy Dutta for one month. Meanwhile, the two day state conference of the CPI(M) has ended in Kolkatta on Sunday. The party State Secretary Mr. Biman Basu said in Kolkata that Mr. Sujan Chakraborty, District Secretary of South 24 Pargana and Amiya Patra District Secretary, Bankura have been inducted into CPI(M) State Secretariat as its member while Mr. Benoy Konar has been dropped on health ground.
