A CPI(M) delegation met Chief Election Commissioner O P Rawat in New Delhi yesterday and voiced concerns over an advertisement published on the social media campaign page of the BJP. <br/><br/>The issue pertains to the reported announcement made in the social media campaign page of the BJP where an advertisement has been published for non-resident voters from outside the state with a promise for a free train travel to Tripura by showing their voter ID cards, posing this as a gift from Prime Minister Narendra Modi. <br/><br/>The delegation led by CPI(M) leader Nilotpal Basu accused the BJP of indulging in corrupt practices in the run-up to the Tripura Assembly elections.
