In Kerala, CPIM led opposition walked out of the state assembly today on its alleged failure of the UDF government to contain viral fever including H1N1. State health Minister Adoor Praksh has informed the house that pre monsoon cleaning has been carried out and ventilator facility has been provided at medical colleges. He pointed out that several posts of doctors and para medical staff have been lyving vacant for years. Steps are being taken to fill these posts. However, opposition leader V S Achuthandan blamed the government for inaction and the entire opposition walked out in protest.
