The Calcutta High Court has ordered a CID probe into the killing of two CPI(M) leaders during a recent clash with suspected Trinamool workers in Burdwan town. The Court also said on Friday that it will monitor the progress of the investigation in to the February 22 attack. The attack has so far been probed by the local police.A division bench comprising Chief Justice J N Patel and Justice S Chakraborti directed the CID to submit its first report on March 23.
