The CPIM has demanded and independent probe into the alleged tapping of the phone calls of political leaders by the intelligence agency. <br/><br/>In a statement issued in New Delhi today the polit bureau of the party dismissed the denial of phone tapping by the Home Minister. <br/><br/>The party criticized the government for using intelligence and security agencies for such surveillance.<br/>
