The CPI(M) today demanded that the government revoke its decision of allowing FDI in multi brand retail and other measures like hike in diesel price. Addressing a news conference in New Delhi today, Party General Secretary Prakash Karat accused the government of not seeking consensus among political parties on FDI in retail. He added that if the government does not rollback what he said anti-people measures, then it has lost its mandate and right to continue in office.
