CPI(M) on Monday condoled the passing away of freedom fighter Captain Lakshmi Sahgal. In a statement by the Polit Bureau , the party said Captain Sahgal was a compassionate doctor in the service of the poor and great freedom fighter. The party said her life and work will continue to inspire young generations.
