The CPI(M) today asked the Centre to launch a joint operation across the border in Jharkhand without delay to flush out the Left wing extremists. The party Polit Bureau in a statement said there is a necessity for better coordination between the state police and the Central paramilitary forces. <br/><br/>The party said the Central Government should ensure that joint operations begin across the border in Jharkhand, without delay. The party expressed deep shock at the attack on a police camp in Shilda in which 24 persons belonging to the Eastern Frontier Rifles were killed.
