<span style="color: #222222;">The CPI(M) announced candidates for the upcoming General Elections in the 15 Lok Sabha seats in Kerala, including former State ministers K K Shailaja (vadakara) and T M Thomas Isaac (pathanamthitta). Actor-turned MLA Mukesh (Kollam) and V Joy (Attingal) have also been chosen to contest the LS polls. Two sitting MPs, A M Arif (Alappuzha) and Elamaram Kareem (Kozhikodu), have been included in the candidate list. Joice George (Idukki),KJ Shine (Ernakulam), former minister C.Raveendranath (Chalakkudi), A.Vijayaraghavan (Palakkad), K.Radhakrishnan (Alathur), V. Waseef (malappuram), MV Jayarajan (Kannur), MV Balakrishnan (Kasargode) are also included in the candidate list. K.S. Hamsa, who is now being fielded by the CPI(M) in Ponnani, will also contest under the CPI(M)'s symbol as independent LDF candidate. CPI(M) announced its candidates last evening.</span><br />
