Mass movement against Price-rise and formation of third front were the main issues at the CPI function in Bangalore on Saturday. A B Bardhan General Secreaty of CPI accused the Congress govt. in Centre and BJP Govt. in state for their policies supporting corporate houses free market economy and liberlisation, which he said, was responsible for price-rise. He called upon Janata Dal [Secular] National President Devegowda and other like minded parties to joined hand against Congress and BJP. The public function held in Freedom Park became a platform where announcement was made to launch nation-wide movement against price-rise. Bardhan informed that a Mammoth rally will be held Delhi against price-rise during the budget-session. He lashed the Central Govt. for not enacting food security bill and essential commodity act and universalization of public distribution system. <br/>On this occasion left Member of Parliament Gurudas Dasgupta informed that ten lakh workers will participate in the Jail Bharon Programme on 4th of March and Bharat Bandh will be called by the left party against price-rise in February or March.<br/>The public function will be followed by National Executive Meeting of CPI for the next two days in the city.<br/>
