In Kerala, CPI State Secretary C K Chandrappan died today in Thiruvanathapuram. He was 76. Chandrappan was under treatment as he was suffering from cancer for some time. Three time Lok Sabha member, Chandrappan has represented Cherthala constituency in the state assembly twice.
