CPI (M) on Saturday urged the government to review the New Exploration Licensing Policy (NELP). A Polit Bureau statement called for bringing major modifications in the Hydrocarbon production sharing contracts to prevent their misuse. They also demanded an investigation in the role on the wake of observation made by CAG in KG-Basin allotment to a private company.
