The CPI(M) today sought the removal of A Raja from the union cabinet for his involvement in the 2G telecom scam.Addressing a press conference in New Delhi, party leader Sitaram Yechury said Mr Raja should be dropped as his continuance may hamper in the probe. He said the government should take immediate steps to recover lost license and spectrum fees about over Rs. 1,90,000 from the operators those who got the licenses otherwise their licenses should be cancelled. Mr Yechury also demanded suspension of officials against whom now prima facie case exists for illegalities. He informed his party would raise this issue in the coming Parliament session. In a letter to the Prime Minister, Mr Yechury also raised all these issues.
