Union minister for Information and Broadcasting, Smriti Irani on Saturday said that the CPI-M is misusing the power to spread violence in Kerala. The minister was speaking at the state BJP unit's "Janarakshayatra" in Chengannur in Kerala. She further accused that people are not safe even in the constituency of the Chief Minister. The Union Minister also said that the Indian communists have a history of helping anti-nationals. Later in the day Mrs. Irani flagged off the Janarakshayatra in Pathanamthitta district in Kerala. <br/><br/>"Janaraksha Yatra" being organized by the state BJP unit in Kerala aims at protesting against political and ideological killings in Kerala as well as issues of alleged love jihad, forced conversions etc. The 15 day long Janarakshayatra was launched by BjP president Amit Shah on 4th of this month in Payyanur in Kannur.
