CPI(M) member A Sampath who was shouting slogan in the well of the Lok Sabha complained of uneasiness at 3.20. He was taken to the hospital for medical check up.

When the Lok Sabha reassembled after two brief adjournments at 3.30 PM, the members requested the Chair for adjournment of the House following the ill health of Mr. A Sampath. On the request, the Chair adjourned the House till 4 P.M.
