CPI (M) has expressed deep shock at the destruction and loss of lives due to the powerful earthquake centered in Sikkim. Party Polit Bureau in a statement said all efforts should be made to mount rescue and relief operations and to restore communication in the affected areas. Party has also conveyed its heartfelt condolences to the families of all those who have lost their lives in the calamity.
