CPI (M) today demanded a through inquiry into the alleged suppression of facts regarding the death of former Union Minister E. Ahamed. Raising the issue during Zero Hour in the Rajya Sabha, Sitaram Yechuri said it is shameful that the facts were suppressed and even his family members were not allowed to visit the former minister who fell sick during the joint sitting of Parliament on its first day of the Budget session. <br/><br/>He informed that some doctors informed that he was brought dead to the hospital and some said he was kept in ICU at the behest of instructions from high level. Mr Yechuri demanded that those who indulged in such practices must be made accountable.
