CPI demands probe into the assets of all former Jharkhand CMs

The Communist Party of India, CPI today demanded a probe into the assets of all former chief ministers of Jharkhand. Addressing a news conference in Ranchi, Senior Party leader Ramendra Kumar said, bureaucrats should also be questioned about their properties. He said, corruption charges and recent raids involving former CM, Madhu Koda reveal that natural and mineral resources of the state were exploited. CPI has fielded candidates on nine seats and will campaign for its coalition partners CPIM, MCC, RJD and LJP on other seats.<br/><br/>Meanwhile, the former Jharkhand Chief Minister Madhu Koda has alleged that some forces are trying to implicate him in false cases to keep him away from the forth coming assembly elections. Talking to reporters in Chaibasa, he said that he will expose those forces in due course. Mr. Koda also alleged that there is threat to his life. Earlier, Mr. Koda who was to appear before ED on Sunday in Delhi, has requested for questioning in Ranchi itself.
