Supporters of the CPI are observing a day long hunger strike demanding the government to take effective measures to deal with rising prices.

In the National Capital, Party General Secretary A.B. Bardhan who observed the strike, asked the government to bring an effective Lokpal Bill in the Winter Session of Parliament.
