CPI General Secretary A B Bardhan today said his party is against use of Army to suppress Maoists in the country. <br/><br/>The CPI General Secretary who has been to Hyderabad to attend the National Council Meetings of the party for three days from tomorrow told reporters that the Maoism is the result of neglecting large sections of the country most of them are poor and backward Tribals in the name of development. <br/><br/>Though the Army is being used in the form of providing training to security personnel and other logistics, he said no body would support the direct use of Army.<br/><br/>Stating that using army would create unrest among civilians, he asked how army can be used to fight against our own people.
