In Sikkim, COVID19 vaccination programme for the 18-44 age group will stop temporarily from 28th May. Sikkim health department informed that the state will exhaust vaccines received for the month of May on Thursday and would be able to resume inoculation for the age group after receiving the next consignment of vaccines. Sikkim began vaccinating the 18-44 age group on the occasion of State Day on 16th May.<br />'' <br />''Information, education and communication officer of Sikkim health department Sonam Bhutia informed that the state had received 9,940 doses of vaccine for May and will restart vaccinating people of 18-44 years after receiving around 11,000 doses in June.
