<span style="color: #222222;">Meghalaya registered two COVID 19 related deaths from East Khasi Hills district taking the corona death toll to 114 in the state. Directorate of Health Services informed that 79 new COVID 19 cases were registered today. Among the new cases, 53 are from East Khasi Hills, 23 from West Garo Hills and one each from East Jaintia Hills, Ri Bhoi and West Jaintia Hills. The total number of active cases stands at 686 in Meghalaya.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">  </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">There were 60 recoveries taking the total number of recovered cases to 11154 in the state. So far, 11954 people have tested positive for COVID 19 infection in the state.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">  </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Till date, 2,45,177 samples have been tested. There are 32 containment zones across Meghalaya and the fatality rate stands at 0.95 percent.</span>
